I work closely with the multi-functional team or teams that the project touches to analyze how Microsoft GP Dynamics (and/or partners) can be used to deal with the challenge that a department or company faces.

The teams usually include representatives and experts from Logistics, Management, Finance, and Procurement, as well as experts who are end-users from each area. A key function is to go beyond ‘coding’ and ‘tech support’ and to provide a bridge for each of the other parts of the company to cross over and build a stronger interdisciplinary solution.

I thoroughly understand Dynamics and how to use the functionality of the modules to match business successfully and compliance needs such as SOX Compliance. The depth of Dynamics’ capability enables me to map business processes to the software and deliver the results outlined from the beginning of our work together.

Managed various software applications for Mail Management Department, Materials Distribution Agency and Security and Parking (MB Justice Dept)

Supported GP 5.5 for 45 user community within the Manitoba Government.

Upgraded DOS- based Great Plains to Dynamics 5.5 with assistance from Deloitte

Software Design 

Created Dexterity code and design in the sales module, which handled 3rd party billings on one sales invoice, as well as discount and caps on the deductibles from the client (patient) and WRHA (regional Health Authority) and government co-pay)

Created custom applications (Visual Basic) and reports (Crystal Reports) for split-billing of medical supplies within the framework of government policies and processes.

Created custom applications using VB 5 and VB6, SQL Server, Crystal Reports and Access.

Integrated GP 5.5 and 7 with SAP for payables management module.

Created custom order fulfillment application in GP to expedite rush orders and automate order fulfillment by postal code and truck routes for faster shipping and reduced costs.

Process Improvement

Business Process re-engineering of broken processes to better the organization, some of these included sales order and supply chain enhancements as well as inventory and purchasing changes.

Managed 17 unique product lines within the government and provided various reports on each for sales and marketing teams.

Improved customer service by creating automatic email alerts to customers as the order status changed in the GP system thereby improving the appearance of the customers purchasing experience.
